Terms of Service

Circuit is the guest network for the rooms worth showing up to. Organisers create Rooms, check guests in at the door, and build a longitudinal attendance history over time. The core loop: guests RSVP, attend, receive recognition, unlock milestones, and return.

These terms are an agreement between you and Meet Circuit Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 17376774, registered office 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE. Circuit is its trading name. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Meet Circuit Ltd.

Organiser accounts require an email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

Guest identity is cookie-based. No account or password is required to be checked in at a Room. Guests may optionally create a profile via magic link to view their attendance history.

Free: The attendance record. Unlimited Rooms, unlimited guests, capture by hand, by QR, by Card or by Block tap, guest lists and visit counts, recognition emails, CSV export.

Pro (£20/month): The action layer: planning the turnout, broadcasts and consent-scoped outbound, paid RSVPs with no Circuit fee per ticket (standard payment processing still applies), retention insights, patterns, unlock rules, series management, analytics exports, and AI credits.

Venue (from £149/month, custom above): Organisation account, cross-organiser aggregation for one building, venue overview, cross-format metrics, standard exports, and a quarterly performance review. Scoped in conversation, not at a checkout.

Enterprise: Everything in Venue, plus API access, outbound webhooks, and brand-led community programming infrastructure. Annual contract. Terms governed by a separate agreement.

Hardware is bought outright and is not a subscription: Circuit Card £29, Block 80 Pack £69, Block 120 Pack £89. Each Pack contains one Block and one Circuit Card. No tier is required to provision or use purchased hardware. Delivery, duties and returns are in section 10.

The free tier is provided “as is” without uptime guarantees. For paid tiers, we aim for high availability but do not offer a formal SLA unless agreed in a separate Enterprise agreement.

Organisers own their guest list and attendance record. Circuit acts as Data Processor for this data.

Guests own their profile data. Circuit acts as Data Controller for guest profile data.

Organisers may export their data at any time via CSV or PDF. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.

Some Circuit memberships include bringing one guest to a Room, on a date the organiser has opened to guests. One guest per member, per date.

You can add a guest without naming them. If you do give us their name and email address, you are telling us you have their permission, and the rest of this section applies to them. They have no account with us and never need one.

We email them to say you have added them. That email carries a link that takes them off the list, and they can use it without asking you first. The organiser sees them on the door list on the night, the same as any other guest.

If you change the email address you gave us, we treat that as a different person: we close the first person’s record and write to the new one. Correcting a spelling or a surname is not a different person, and nobody is written to again.

We hold their name and email for that Room’s date, and delete them 30 days after it. The extra time is so that someone who has taken themselves off the list cannot simply be added again. Taking them off the list erases both, whether you do it or they do. They can also write to us at hello@meetcircuit.com and we will erase them.

You must not:

• Fabricate attendance records or check in guests who did not attend.
• Use the platform to send unsolicited communications to guests.
• Import guest data without a lawful basis (e.g., prior attendance relationship).
• Attempt to access data belonging to other organisers.
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from Circuit.
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code from the service.
• Use the API outside the scope of your tier’s permissions.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing to a paid tier, you agree to Stripe’s terms of service.

If you configure outbound webhooks or API integrations, you are responsible for the security and compliance of your receiving endpoints.

Circuit uses third-party infrastructure providers to operate the service. See our Privacy Policy for a full list of sub-processors.

Retention insights, recognition email composition, and report narration use AI (Anthropic Claude).

AI features process data within your organiser tenant scope only.

AI-generated content, including recognition emails and report narratives, is reviewed by automated tone checks, but you should verify accuracy before relying on it.

AI credits are consumed per query. Credits are non-refundable.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.

After cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days. After that, you may request permanent deletion.

AI credits purchased separately are non-refundable.

We may change pricing with 30 days’ notice. Existing subscriptions are honoured until the next renewal.

We ship hardware to the United Kingdom, the United States and the European Union. UK and EU orders are dispatched from London. US orders are dispatched from New York.

Shipping is a flat charge for your region, added at checkout. Delivery within the United Kingdom is free. Delivery to the United States is $15. Delivery to the European Union is €12.

Orders from London travel by Royal Mail tracked. Expect the UK and the EU to take 2 to 3 working days. Orders from New York travel by USPS Priority Mail. Expect the US to take 2 to 4 working days. Each window starts when we dispatch the order, and none of them includes time a parcel spends in customs.

An order to the European Union is sent from the United Kingdom. Import VAT and any duties on it are yours to pay at the door. They are not included in what you pay us, and we cannot tell you in advance what your own country will charge.

We hold no tax registration outside the United Kingdom, so no tax is collected at our checkout and every hardware order carries a tax line of zero. You are charged the price shown plus the shipping line for your region.

Hardware is charged in the currency of your region: pounds in the United Kingdom, dollars in the United States and euros in the European Union. The price shown at the checkout is the price charged. The pound figures in section 3 are the reference ladder.

You may cancel a hardware order within 14 days of delivery and send unused hardware back to us. Write to hello@meetcircuit.com before you post anything. You pay the return postage. We refund the order when it reaches us, in the currency it was charged in.

A return goes back to the place the order shipped from. UK and EU returns go to 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE. For a US return, write to us and we will give you the dispatch address.

A Circuit Card that has been claimed by a member cannot be returned. Claiming binds that Card to that person, which is the thing the Card is for.

Charges from us appear on your statement as MEETCIRCUIT.COM. A hardware charge appears as CRCT* MEETCIRCUIT.COM.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, particularly regarding guest privacy, data fabrication, or spam.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion permanently removes all Rooms, guest records, attendance data, and associated records.

If you are part of an Organisation, your account deletion does not affect other members’ data.

Circuit is provided “as is” for free-tier users. We make no warranties regarding availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

For paid tiers, our total liability is limited to the fees you have paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost revenue, lost data (beyond reasonable backup efforts), or business interruption.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email to the address on your organiser account at least 30 days before they take effect.

Continued use of Circuit after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
